Ari Daniels owns a consignment store that sells high end gently used items.  One day a man named Thorn Evans walks in her story with photos of a closet full of jackpot material for her to take a look at.  This is not the first time she’s seen Thorn though…oh no.  Their eyes connected across a bar a few nights prior and the connection was instant even while he was kissing another woman.  HA!

These two – you’ll enjoy their friendly and more than friendly banter with one another.  I liked how Thorn gave Ari a run for her money.  He’s so cute in his demands – I don’t think Harper (the author) really would appreciate me saying he was cute.  Alpha sure.  But really, just read and see.  Cute.  “Babe.”

This is my first read of a self-published Harper Sloan book. It’s definitely the type of book I expected from her. I hope you enjoy reading this book as well.  Give it a go if you like strong women and stronger men.  Unconscious Hearts has both.
