Unhinged by Natasha Knight Release Review

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Eve made a deal with the devil two years ago. It lead to a night in which she lost everything. The night she thought he died. Now though he is back. But he is dark. Darker than he was before and more dangerous. Unhinged. A scarred, tattooed savage. They way he looks at her should terrify Eve but it doesn’t. In fact she is drawn to him and his intensity. She is consumed by him  and his intensity and if she isn’t careful his obsession will destroy her.

Zach should have died two years ago on a night that changes his life forever. His mistake cost him his men and their lives. It should have cost him his but he survived. The day he learned she did too, he made it his mission to find her. He has sought her out and tracked her. He has shadowed her every move and even been inside her home. Eaten her food, drank her liquor and stood beside her bed and watched her sleep. She has a ton of secrets and Zach knows one of them. It is the one where their pasts collided. The one that destroyed him and it is the reason he has come from her. He never intended to touch her but he did and now that he has had a taste he wants more. He wants her. But that won’t change why he is there. It won’t change why he came for her.

Holy WOW!!! This book is amazing and I devoured it. I absolutely could not put it down. I fell so in love with Zach and Eve. Eve has lost everything. Her parents and three of her brothers. One on the fateful night that involved Zach. Now out of Beirut and living in Denver she is surviving the best way she can and is quiet the successful real estate agent. One appointment and her life is turned upside down as the man she thought was dead is suddenly sitting in her office under a different name wanting to be shown houses. However it is all a ruse and he wants answers to what happened that night and how she survived. If she survived, did her brother and some terribly evil men? If she is in the United States with a fake passport who sent her there and what game are they playing? Zach isn’t exactly sure what is going on but he is more than determined to find out and Eve is equally determined to go with him. Little does she know, even though Zach warns her, just how much danger their lives are in. Throw in an intense attraction to each other and you have a book filled with action, intrigue, adventure, danger and a touch of darkness. In other words a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Questioning everything right along with the characters and reading just as fast as you can.

I love a book that keeps me on my toes and has me breathless. Unhinged delivers in spades and Natasha Knight has done an amazing job writing this book and keeping me so engrossed I could not put it down. I also was not aware that there were two books in front of Unhinged about Zach’s two older brothers. Each is a standalone and I can not wait to get to read Dishonorable and Disgraced. There is also a prequel to Unhinged that is titled Betrayed which is about the night that brought on all the events in Unhinged. I did not read it before Unhinged but after I had finished and I was not lost at all in Unhinged. You do not want to miss this book. It is amazing and I wish I could give it more than five stars.
