Upper Hand by Amelia Wilde Release and Review

You will have to read Power Play first or you are not going to know what is happening in this book. This book picks right back up at the cliffhanger we were left with in that book and I was so excited to be back with Gabriel and Elise. This book is the battle of the feelings they have for one another. All while dealing with the danger and secrets of the consortium. If you remember Mason Hill tried to do this same thing in New Worth. I love Elise and Gabriel and they really go through it but you do get answers to questions that I am sure we have all had. After all Gabriel is a very broken man and he needs home. Home that is a super strong woman to ground him from all that has happened in his life and that woman is Elise. I cannot sit here and say that their journey didn’t get frustrating at times. Like I wanted to knock some heads together and I hated how he kept hurting her time and time again. But remember Gabriel is super broken. I love that Elise understood Gabriel’s need for revenge and she never questions him for it or really blames him for wanting that revenge. It’s hard to change the path you are on and are destined to travel when it has been set in motion a long time ago. I loved this book but I so need the next one in my hot little hands right away.
