Nova Romano is an anomaly.
She’s playing a role she didn’t choose, living a life that was never hers to begin with.
A tapestry of deceit and carefully interwoven lies protect her
But when everything unravels, the truth comes with a heavy price tag.
She’ll have to marry a man who despises women,
Or sell her soul to a monster like me.
When Nova realizes I’ll sacrifice everyone she loves to keep her,
She will have no choice but to give in.
I’ll drip-feed her my brand of crazy until she’s as twisted as I am.
That’s what happens when an unstable mind falls for a reckless heart.
And when she runs, I’ll be ready.
There is no place she can go that I won’t follow
Even the depths of hell itself.

Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is a dark romance and you need to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. I have to say that I know we just are at the end of January but Vices and Vows is the best book I have read so far this year. I did not put this book down. This book dives into this dark world feet first and you don’t get a moment to catch your breath until the very end. This is the story of Vice and Nova. She has been trained her entire life to be a bodyguard to a girl that use to be her best friend and is not the biggest brat to ever walk the face of the earth. But she is good at her job and takes it seriously. Vice comes from one of the five families and is in prison and has been for ten years. If they thought he was a big enforcer for his family before prison they won’t know what is coming for them until it is too late now that he has served his time and is getting out early. Of course he has a brother so he won’t be taking over the head spot. His brother will and that is fine with him. He is happy with the way things have always been. And I have to stop there or I know I will tell you something that I should not. Actually now that I think about it, you are better off probably going into this book blind. The less you know the better off you are. I will say that this book is so good. It has twists and turns. Devious secrets are being kept from a whole lot of people. You will be on the edge of your seat at times. I almost threw my kindle and I yelled so loud I scared my husband and that wasn’t even at the end of the book. You need this book in your life. If you love them with twists and turns, moments that take your breath and a story that is just unforgettable, then you do not want to miss this book. I would give it fifty stars if I could. Yes, it is just that good.
