Vigor is the third book in the Spartan Riders Series from J.C. Valentine. I am assuming this can be read as a standalone because I did it. However I so wish I had read the other books before it.

Boy of boy does he have his work cut out form him if he hope to ever win her. Now too, there is a new threat threatening everything the brothers stand for and care about. They are left scrambling to find out who is behind it before it is to late. With the stakes so high and war looming over them will Red be able to open her heart to love before outside forces pull her and Repo apart?
Repo, Repo, Repo. Oh how I fell in love with this guy. He is certainly a big bad biker to the tee but he also has this side to him that few people ever get to see and I loved that side of him. He has lived a life that was expected of him before the new President took over and turned their club around and now is ready to settle down. Red is the woman for him. I really loved her too. She is like the mother of the club, however she has no problem spreading the love around and making the members feel like they are the most special people in the world and listens to them. She genuinely cares about them. They are her family and have been for a while. However she is stubborn and because of past relationship she doesn’t need a man in her life except for one thing and she can get plenty of that at the club. However when Repo claims her basically behind her back and the boys start acting strange around her ……get ready because all heck is going to break lose. I loved he mystery of who is threatening the club. They way I got to see into the others characters thoughts from some of their chapters. This book is told mainly from Red and Repo’s point of view but there are times your in the others head for a little bit. This is where I felt like I was missing something. Not necessarily anything that made the story not work for me or had me lost while reading but just this nagging I wish I had read the other books in the series first feeling.
If you love MC books then you are going to love J.C. Valentine’s Vigor. I would recommend it. I would also say too though to read the other books first just so you don’t feel like I did. I can’t wait to see what comes next for this club as I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of this book and I just know in the next book the crap is going to hit the fan and I so want to see that.
