Ariella is a seventeen year old girl who has lived though things no child should ever in a lifetime live through since the age of ten. She is now facing her wedding day to the Prophet of the “sisterhood of the moon”. If the Mother deems you do do something you do it and Ariella does not want to do this at all. Things quickly escalate and Ariella finds herself washed up on land with a serious sunburn barely even able to walk and knowing that she is going to die soon. However the night before while doing a job for the MC Viking swears he sees something in the water he has always been drawn to and when the MC is leaving the next day he sees the white again and Ariella is rescued thought I don’t think at the time she realizes that’s what is going on. Viking is the President of the MC and he has now rescued a mermaid and he is also on the hunt for someone close to him and he has been for a long time. I loved watching Ariella grow into a eighteen year old girl who has lived through so much to a woman who is full of rage and wants her revenge as bad a Viking and his MC want to wipe the world clean of pedophiles. I loved Viking and his struggles really were valid and he is just who he is and doesn’t apologize for it. He takes care of those he loves and his MC is his family and he will do anything for them. He also realizes that he would do anything for Ariella no matter how wrong it seems to him and he struggles with how young she is because he is feeling more for her than knows he should. There is an age gap between these two but I for one think that they are so perfect for it. Will they see it though? Will Viking be able to help Ariella get what she wants more than anything in the world? You have to read to find out. You will not put this book down once you have picked it up. There are things in this book that made my stomach turn and I am a dark romance reading girl. I am addicted to them and this one ranks right up there with some super messed up breaks your heart things happening in it. I loved this book and know that you guys will too.
