This is a dark, forbidden, second chance romance and is in the Savage Legacy world but a complete standalone. It also might contain triggers for some readers. You will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. This is the story of Larelai and Zakh. He is her brothers best friend and for many reasons. Being involved with the Mafia though Larelai has been promised to a monster. There is also a secret society in play in this book too but I will let you discover what that is all about when you read the book. Zakh however is one of the most powerful men in Boston and when crosses a huge line for her he sudden isn’t so forbidden and here begins the fiery hot passion that is Zakh and Larelai. These two have some amazing chemistry right up until he is accused of murder and goes on the run. A devestat Larelai must go on with her life and just when she is about to get married a big surprise appears in her life again. I don’t really think I can go inot much more detail and not give something away. I really loved this book. It was a really fun book to read and I didn’t lay it down one time.
