This second book in the Hitched series is quite funny. I thought the characters were perfect matches for each other. Love the Australian accent. Totally wish you could really hear it as you read the story though. If this book is ever done in audio the authors should seriously find someone with that accent to do Lachlan’s reading.
I thought we would have seen more of Vi’s Domme side in this book. She seemed to really enjoy dominating but it wasn’t really a factor in her story. She’s started a sex shop called Whipped and has a sexy “Aussie hottie” that comes in frequently buying new toys for the new women he brings with him each time. He very well may keep them in business.
No matter how hard Vi tried not to be attracted to Lach he just kept coming at her. I think Vi’s insecurity of staying with one man hindered her ability to actually give in to Lach initially. It’s a whole new world not being the Dominate in the relationship. They have some steamy as well as funny scenes together in this story. It’s definitely one you should check out. It’s a stand alone novel, but would help to have read Hitched prior to Whipped.
