This is the story of Tierney and Elias. This book has some dark themes and you will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. It will contain triggers for some readers. Tierney has endured horrible things. She sees her chance to get away and flees her engagement party. The time has come to rebuild her life and she spent a year in Arkansas healing and rebuilding her self worth. The life she has built and the healing she has done are the only possession she has in the world. Elias has been in jail for five years. He was really excited to go back to his family and start his normal life again. He just never expected to get there and Tierney is now intertwined in every part of his life. I loved these characters and they really have been through so much. I loved the rebuilding and the strength and determination that is in this story. It is one I picked up and didn’t lay down until I was finished.
