If you have not read Black Sheep, you must in order to read White Knight. This is a continuation story and you’ll be lost if you haven’t read the first book.
In White Knight – Cannon is trying to protect Drew as well as his family from the predators that lie in the different mafia families. It’s a hard line to juggle especially when you don’t want to participate in the mafia itself.
You’ll see some characters from previous Meghan March books in this particular story. It was a good family reunion – even if it ended in tragedy. Stepping up to the plate Cannon does what he needs to do in order to keep everyone safe. He and Drew have discussed her true identity but there’s another layer neither knew about until the stuff hits the fan in the city.
This novel read a bit slower for me. It wasn’t quite the big page turner I expected it to be. However the writing is great as usual. I did enjoy these characters and their HEA is definitely deserved.
