Guess who? Read through our Q & A’s.  Make your guess to who you think our secret elf is today. You can put your answer in the RaffleCopter attached below. There may even be a prize in it for you! Good Luck!

1.  What are you doing for Christmas this year?
Spending a quiet dinner with family.

2.  What would you buy us as a cool present?!
A really cool present would be tixx to the Aussie book signing, but I can’t afford it. Lol.  I will give you a bag o’ swag though. J

3.  What would you like to find in your Christmas stocking?
A tablet!  (I may have small feet, but I have a big stocking.)

4.  What’s your favorite Christmas memory?
My favorite Christmas memory is from my childhood.  It was trying so hard to stay awake with my sister and cousin to wait for Santa, but always falling asleep.

5.  What’s your favorite festive song or carol?
Hark the Herald Angels Sing. I play it on the piano, really fast and loud. I made it into a hard rock anthem.

6..  In a Christmas fantasy land – who would be the famous figures, past and present, at your dinner table and why?
Jim Morrison – The original bad ass, rock god
Brian May – A gentleman, a philanthropist and rock royalty.  (He’s from the band Queen.  Please don’t tell me if you didn’t already know that!)
Steve Irwin – A beautiful human being and humanitarian.  Visiting Australia and meeting him was on my bucket list.
Elvis Presley – The King.  ‘Nuff said.
Michael Jackson –  He was a musical genius.
Joan Jett – A timeless rock goddess.
Beyonce – Well, because she’s Beyonce
Michelle Obama – An elegant, well spoken and intriguing woman
Sharon Osbourne – She’s witty, eloquent and a spitfire.  And our hair color matches.
Pink – A truly talented performer. Plus, I want to see her get it on with Jim Morrison.

7.  Again, in fantasy land or in reality – who would you like to grab under the mistletoe?
Just one?  Lol.  Jackson Teller (a/k/a Charlie Hunnam).

8. What would your perfect Christmas look like and would there be snow?!
My perfect Christmas would include my family, extended family and friends.  Fancy attire is unimportant.  Comfort and camaraderie are the night’s theme.  Consistent with my Italian heritage, the grand multi-course meal is the focus of the evening.  The table-cloth is red linen.  Candles accentuate the intimacy shared. Goblets, full with homemade wine, are abundant.  Even the children are allowed a small taste on this special occasion.  The fire in the adjacent hearth would fill the room with its warmth and paint it with rich shades of orange.  The snow that tickled the window pane with its frost would float down from the sky slowly, appearing to be in a state of suspended animation.  We would gather around the window to examine each snowflake, commenting on their unique shapes.  After dinner, we indulge in a birdbath-sized bowl of mixed nuts, in the shell, and stalks of fennel – only we call it finocchio.  The meal ends with dessert: homemade cannoli and cheesecake made with ricotta, not the heavy American cheese cake made with cream cheese.  When our waist has grown two sizes, we refill our wine glasses and retire to the living room holding our bellies and praising Mama’s cooking.  The many talented musicians among us would all vie for their turn to entertain us with acoustic versions of upbeat modern rock songs and tender classic rock ballads.  The night would end with a robust rendition of Dominick the Donkey, sung by all.

9. What have been the highlights for you from 2013?
Having my first book published.
Meeting Ozzy Osbourne.
Renovating the 2nd floor of my home.
Meeting all the wonderful people on Facebook.

10. Any New Year’s resolutions?
I don’t make resolutions because I think it sets myself up for failure.  My resolutions each year are the same as my resolutions I live by every day:  Practice random acts of kindness; live each day to the fullest.

11. What is 2014 going to look like for you?
2014 is going to be a whirlwind.  My next book is coming out in March.  It’s a rock star series and will contain four books, so I will be furiously penning the rest of the series.  I’m traveling to several author signings and plan to meet as many fans as possible.
