This is the conclusion to the Knight Duet. You have to read Wicked Knight Part One before diving into this book. This book picks up right where we left off in the first book. As you know we left off the first book with Donata sitting in a cell. But it is finally revealed who she is supposed to be helping. Maxim Belov, who is the nephew of the Bratva boss Papa. The entire mafia is at war with the Society and you know exactly why if you have read the first book. I don’t want to spoil it if you haven’t read the book. Maxim is so unlike Luca. He is a professor but has this side to him that is super dark, very ruthless and violent. However there is this attraction between he and Donata. With that thought she sure as heck doesn’t want to marry him. She knows that she needs to escape. I don’t want to tell you anymore about the story but I was hooked and thought this duet was absolutely amazing.
