NEW RELEASE

Release Date: November 19

This wasn’t supposed to happen. I was supposed to glide through senior year unnoticed and ride into the sunset on the back of my aunt’s inflated bank account. I was supposed to be in control.

Now they are.

The trials will last 60 days. They can happen anytime, anyplace, and anyone or anything is fair game. I won’t see them coming. I’ll need to be ready at all times. Prepared to fight, to steal, to save, and to kill at Diesel St. Crow’s command.

While I sit on standby, he’s ordered his sons to keep an eye on me, and they’ve become my own personal wardens.

Corvus, Rook, and Grey. Their watchful stares will make destroying them from the inside harder than I planned for.

But as truths are dragged out of the shadows and new dangers emerge, I may be forced to accept that they are more than armed roadblocks in my path. They might also be my only hope of survival.

Wicked Trials is a full-length dark enemies-to-lovers reverse harem romance, meaning the main character will have more than one love interest. It is book two in the Boys of Briar Hall series and should be read after Crooked Crows.

Warning: This is a dark gang romance. It contains foul language, explicit sexual content, graphic depictions of gang violence, dubcon, and jealous/possessive themes. Recommended for readers aged eighteen and up. Please read responsibly.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the second book in the Boys of Briar Hall Series from Elena Lawson. You can not read this book as a standalone as it is a second book. You will need to read Crooked Crows first. This is also a dark gang romance and it will hold triggers for some readers. You need to heed the warnings before diving in. I could not wait to get this book in my hands as I was so needing to know what was going to happen to Ava Jade. After all she has seen to much and now Diesel has declared that she needs to go through the trials where you either pass or you die. I was a nervous wreck to go into this book and I didn’t lay it down once I started it. It is a fast paced book that at times will have you on the edge of your seat. Ava Jade is one tough female character that would just as soon cut you as to look at you. She has the boys, Covus, Rook and Grey who are trying their best to figure her out and at the same time keep her safe. But is anyone ever really save. Then you have to mystery of who is the Unknown Sender of the text messages that Ava Jade has been getting. You have to read this book to find out what happens. I can’t really talk about the story as I am afraid I’d give something away. I am loving this series and to say I need the next book now is a understatement.

Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too.
