Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Kenzo is the head of the most feared crime family in New Orleans. He has always known that he would have to marry a girl that his family chooses and that is coming up pretty quickly. Even though they have known that they would have to marry since she was sixteen. Now she is eighteen and the time has come to collect her. But, Evie is not about to marry this man. She has a plan and that plan is to escape. Never look back and hopefully love her life the way she wants to without being around all the danger that comes being born into a crime family. He might have to hunt her to the ends of the earth but he will find her. He, however never expected the Evie that he gets. These two have the best banter. It really keeps you hanging onto every word. He is pure alpha, and expects a wife that will be docile and go with the flow. But Evie is fierce and tough and the girl gives as good as she gets. There are all kinds of twists and turns in the book. Moments that will have you on the edge of your seat. Secrets being kept that will be revealed. I was hooked on every single word. This book is so well written that it plays like a little movie in your head. You guys need this book in your life. Evie and Kenzo are pure fire!!

AUTHOR BIO
Jo McCall writes dark, contemporary and PNR romance. She is an avid reader of anything dark and steamy and when she isn’t writing, you can find her making a rather large dent in her TBR.
She is a lover of strong heroines who find their own and hot, sexy alpha males who might be a tad bit over-possessive. Jo loves to lose herself in her characters and the flaws and darkness that surround them.
There is no shame found here, and she often gets lost when writing out those erotic, steamy scenes that make women’s (and men’s) fantasies come true.
“There is nothing like getting lost in something you know is wrong, but still can’t resist.”
Jo currently resides in the beautiful state of Washington with her two dogs and has dreams of quitting her day job and traveling in a converted van around the states as she writes.

About Renee Henson

Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. She is always happiest with her kindle in her hand and her nose is a book. She has been reviewing for Stephanie's Book Reports for over ten years.
