How many times did I laugh out loud while reading this book? At least a half dozen. And not because it’s corny or over the top cheesy. Nope, the banter between these two characters had me turning the pages, anticipating what was going to happen next, because their chemistry was so off the charts, I knew it was bound to explode at any minute. And when it does…..HOLY MOLY!!!!
Violet is one of the Savoie sisters who are all witches. They all have their own special “craft” and Violet’s is a seer. What’s a seer? Technically it’s someone who can see in to the future or specific events that may happen. This is still somewhat true for Violet, but she can also cast specific spells. As a tattoo artist, she “infuses” her spells in to the tattoo. Pretty cool huh? Except that someone wants her to cast a specific tattoo spell on him that she’s not positive will work. And this person isn’t exactly someone you say no to.
Nico has been head over heels for Violet every since they hooked up at a New Years Eve party a couple years ago. One can even say he’s “stalked” her. Ok, that sounds creepy. How about, he’s watched over her? However you choose to label it, he’s become her partner in her tattoo shop. But being so close to something you can’t have is starting to weigh on him. Add in the fact that his old pack mate is sniffing around and his wolf isn’t the happiest to be around. Time to mark his territory. Now if he can just convince her it’s time.
Did I mention the banter between these two? Geez…and a couple of the scenes in the tattoo shop!!!!! Oh. My. GOODNESS!!!!!!! This author has done such a great job making me fall in love with each and every one of her characters. But I’m thinking that these two are my absolute favorites. That is until the next book, I’m sure.
